TutanGromit Figurine

£45.00

3000 years ago, a pharaoh ruled over a vast empire stretching from the lush banks of the Nile to the red dunes of the desert. Inscrutable as the Sphinx and magnificent as the Pyramids, he was worshipped as a god on earth, the first in a dynasty that would defy the sands of time …

 All hail TutanGromit I!

Inspired by the animal-headed gods of Ancient Egypt, artist Dale Evans decided that Gromit would have made a good deity, too! With his sculpted dress in jewel-like colours and kohl-lined eyes, he certainly looks the part. During the trail he was made to feel right at home among the Egyptian artefacts at Bristol City Museum.
